This workshop draws from everyday examples and focuses on how to teach someone to communicate by using mands (requests) independently and fluently to increase their communication skills.
Communication V – Shaping mands (Part 2)
A follow up from the first shaping mands workshop by going into further detail around the procedures necessary to change and develop already existing mands (requests).

Exploring which skills are needed to have a conversation and how to shape appropriate conversation behaviour by using practical examples that the attendees can relate to.

This topic delves into how to change and develop already existing mands (requests) in a practical and achievable manner, so that the learner is able to communicate more effectively and functionally.
